Below is a series of FAQs. If you have further questions, please visit support and contact TAG.

Do I need to be a TAG Member to utilize this program?

No. This program is currently available to select WatchGuard Partners.

What is required to participate?

Invitation from WatchGuard representative to participate.

Completed onboarding with TAG that includes...

  • Signed Partner Agreement containing terms and conditions for the program
  • Copy of the Partner's Resales or Reseller's Certificate
  • Completed Partner Profile and ACH billing information on the TAG online portal
What is the cost of the program?

There is no cost to participate.

Wholesale pricing to the WatchGuard Partner billed on a monthly basis from TAG.

Is there an MSRP associated with this offering?

A suggested retail price is included in the Price List; however, the Partner may charge the customer at their discretion.

How does a Partner place an order?

Partner is set up with login to TAG WatchGuard Program web site.

Partner may review pricing and place orders, providing quantity, selected security package, and end- user information for POS reporting.

Who bills the end user?

WatchGuard Partner bills the end user every month.

Who bills the WatchGuard Partner?

TAG bills the WatchGuard Partner monthly and collects via automated payment only (ACH)

Payments are collected on 25th of month for upcoming month

How is the product delivered and activated?

Units will be shipped either from TAG or WatchGuard. Standard shipping usually arrives in 3-5 business days. Overnight and 2-Day available for additional cost.

Units arrive un-activated. Partner shall activate the license when ready to configure and install at end user location.

What happens if a customer (end user) cancels service?

Cancellation occurs with 30 days written notice. Cancellations can be reported on the TAG program portal, which will initiate the cancellation process.

Hardware will be retrieved from the end user and either staged for future deployment or returned to TAG.

How is support handled?

Technical support and RMA requests are handled directly with WatchGuard, as they are today. TAG will be point of support for billing and administration questions.
