As the Controller of TAG, Nancy Apilado is responsible for directing TAG's accounting, budgetary, and treasury related functions. Nancy oversees internal corporate accounting functions including all aspects of month-end and fiscal-end close, financial reporting, and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures. Nancy also supervises and manages a variety of TAG Cooperative Purchasing Programs offered to its Members, reconciles Member discounts with TAG Partners, and transmits Member checks.
Nancy joined the company in February 2003 as the accounting assistant to the controller, while she was pursuing her Accounting degree. She was responsible for maintaining the accounts receivables as well as supporting various areas of the accounting department. Upon completion of her degree, she left TAG for an opportunity to work for the USS Midway Museum for four years helping to manage their financials. Nancy maintained all of the USS Midway's accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as assisted the CFO with budgets, audits, and payroll. Nancy rejoined TAG in March 2010 as a Staff Accountant and was responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations in accounts payable and accounts receivable related functions, as well as assisted the Controller in all areas of accounting where needed. In May 2018, Nancy was promoted to the Controller of TAG.
Nancy received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accountancy from San Diego State University.
