Reviewing 2017 and Looking Forward
January 6th, 2018 by Brian Suerth
Another year has come to an end here at TAG. We had an exciting 12 months, filled with STAR meetings, in-person training, and, of course, our annual convention. These were paired with lots of remote classes, covering topics as diverse as customer advocacy, deterring embezzlement, mobility and millennials, security as a service, and marketing. So many of our Members and Strategic Partners shared their knowledge and expertise with us, helping all attendees improve their businesses.
In December alone, we had events in San Diego, Portland, and Orlando. Most recently, we brought the Delta Sigma STAR team together in Florida, with over 40 Members and Strategic Partners in attendance. Our co-founder Dale Stein gave a talk about how to best convert customers to your Managed Service Program (MSP) or cloud solutions. This fit well with Tommy Vaughan of Central Technology Solutions, who discussed strategies for a successful MSP onboarding and how that leads to happier customers. Members interested in how to avoid embezzlement listened closely to Tim Schatz. They learned where to look, how to detect, and what to communicate to employees in order to foster an environment of strong internal controls.
Interested in one of the above-mentioned topics? We sometimes offer these talks as webinars as well. In January you can learn about Managed Services and customers needs, as well as social media, lead generation, and understanding millennials – all from your own office. Each month there’s something new for everyone. If you want to participate in an upcoming in-person training, such as the Financial Management class in Orlando, January 25th and 26th, be sure to register now! We are also always more than happy to review your internal training needs and identify the best classes for you and your team members. Thank you again to everyone who made 2017 such an exciting year! We look forward, to many more classes and get-togethers in 2018.
